## System Requirements

 

Portfolio Boss is lightweight, it can even run on the cheapest hardware. But if you plan on trading complicated strategies with huge Portfolios, we recommend a mainstream multi-core system with at least 8 GB of RAM. The more CPU core and memory you have, the merrier.

Portfolio Boss runs natively in Windows operating-system. It also works on Mac with a virtualization app that runs Windows ([Apple's Boot Camp](https://support.apple.com/boot-camp), [VM Ware Fusion](https://www.vmware.com/products/fusion.html), or [Parallels](https://www.parallels.com/)).

## Installing Portfolio Boss

 

**1.** Head over to Portfolio Boss [download page](https://portfolioboss.com/download/).

**2.** Choose your plan and fill out the necessary information.

**3.** Download the installer with the download link provided.

**4.** Once it's downloaded, double-click to start the installation.

**5.** Follow the installation procedure.

**6.** When you launch Portfolio Boss for the first time, you need to enter the email and password that you've entered previously.

You're done!
